Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
The short version
This website does not set any cookies. It does not run analytics, it does not carry advertising or remarketing tags, and it does not load anything from a third party that could set a cookie on our behalf. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Why there is no cookie table on this page
Most cookie policies open with a table of cookie names, purposes and expiry times. Ours would be empty. Publishing a table of cookies that do not exist would be worse than publishing nothing, so this page describes the actual position instead and will gain a table on the day there is something true to put in it.
The rules this page is written against
Cookies in the UK are governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, usually shortened to PECR. PECR says that storing information on someone’s device, or reading information already stored there, requires clear information about what is being stored and why, and consent before it happens.
There is one exception. Consent is not needed where the storage is strictly necessary to deliver a service the visitor has actively asked for. A shopping basket is the classic example. We do not rely on that exception today, because we store nothing at all.
Where a cookie also involves personal data, UK GDPR applies on top of PECR. What we would do with any such data is set out in the privacy policy.
What this site actually loads
It is worth being specific, because plenty of sites that claim to set no cookies quietly load third party resources that do.
- Fonts. The two typefaces are served as files from this website. They are not requested from a font network, so no third party sees your visit.
- Analytics. None. No page view counter, no tag manager, no heatmap or session recording tool, and no server side measurement product.
- Advertising. None. No conversion pixels, no remarketing lists, no ad network scripts.
- Embeds. None. No embedded video, no map iframe, no social feed, no live chat widget, and no review platform badge that phones home.
- Content delivery network. None. Pages are served directly, not through a third party edge network.
- The enquiry form. Not connected yet. When it is, it will post to a form handling provider, and the section below explains how this page will change.
Your browser may still store things of its own accord, such as the page itself in its cache. That is the browser’s behaviour, not a cookie set by us, and it is controlled from your own browser settings.
Our web server logs
Like any web server, ours records requests it receives. A log line typically holds an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and the browser’s user agent string. This is not a cookie and it does not track you between sites. It exists so that the site can be kept secure and working, it is not used to build a profile of anyone, and it is not shared for any commercial purpose.
What would change if we ever added a cookie
Three things are realistic candidates: connecting the enquiry form to a form handling provider, adding a privacy respecting way of counting page views, and adding a map or video embed to a page. Any of those could involve storage on your device.
If that happens, all of the following will happen first, not afterwards.
- This page gains a table naming each cookie, who sets it, what it is for, and how long it lasts.
- Anything that is not strictly necessary is placed behind a consent request that you can decline, with declining as easy as accepting, and nothing is set until you choose.
- The date at the top of this page changes, and the privacy policy is updated in the same pass.
Until you see that table, you can take this page at face value. There is nothing to opt out of.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every current browser lets you block or delete cookies, either for all sites or site by site, usually under a privacy or security settings heading. Blocking cookies for this site changes nothing about how it works, because it does not use any. Blocking them across all sites will break sign in on sites that do.
