Commercial kitchen extraction services
Our Kitchen Extraction Services
Four things go wrong with a commercial kitchen extraction system, and each one has its own section below. If you are not sure which you need, start from the table further down, which works back from the symptom.
Open 24 hours, every day
What do commercial kitchen extraction services cover?
Commercial kitchen extraction services cover four kinds of work on the system that takes heat, steam and grease-laden air off the cooking line: repairing it when it fails, cleaning grease out of the canopy, filters and ductwork, installing or replacing it, and maintaining it on a fixed schedule so that a fault turns up before service does.
- Repair callout
- From £199 +VAT
- Most faults fixed on the first visit.
- TR19 duct cleaning
- From £495 +VAT
- Maintenance contract
- From £385 +VAT a year
- No call-out charge on contracted sites.
No survey fee. A price is agreed before work starts, not after.
-
Repair
Fan failure, ductwork damage, canopy faults and interlock trips caused by airflow.
-
Grease cleaning
Grease removed to the TR19 Grease methodology. We measure before and after, and write up what we find.
-
Installation
Canopy, ductwork, fan and filtration, sized from your appliance line and built to DW172.
-
Maintenance
Fixed-schedule visits for filter changes and belt checks. We book the next date before we leave.
Which service do I need?
Start from what the kitchen is doing rather than from what the work is called. Most callers describe a symptom, and the symptom usually points at one of the four.
| What you are seeing | Where to start |
|---|---|
| The fan has stopped, or the kitchen is holding smoke | Repair |
| Your environmental health officer or insurer has asked for a certificate | Grease cleaning |
| The gas interlock keeps tripping and the appliances will not stay lit | Repair |
| You are fitting out a kitchen, or the appliance line has changed | Installation |
| Nothing is wrong and you would like it to stay that way | Maintenance |
How does the first visit work?
An engineer arrives inside the window given on the call, finds the fault and quotes it before touching anything. We order nothing and bill no labour until you have agreed the price. If a part has to come in, you hear about it on the visit rather than in an invoice afterwards.
- Engineers employed by us, not sub-contracted
- An arrival window given on the call, not a half-day slot
- A price agreed before work starts
- Gas work is Gas Safe registered work and we do not carry it out
